How to check your next hearing date online

Look it up on the court website
Open the eCourts portal (services.ecourts.gov.in) and search your case — by CNR if you have it, otherwise under Case Status by party name, case number, FIR number or advocate name — solving the captcha each time. The case page shows the Next Hearing Date along with the stage and purpose of the listing. (On CourtWatch the same search works without any captcha.)
Two things to know about this date. It reflects what the court registry has uploaded — if yesterday's order has not been entered yet, the shown date may lag by a day. And nothing notifies you when it changes; the page only answers when you ask.
Confirm on the cause list, the day before
The cause list is the court's daily published schedule: which cases appear before which judge tomorrow, and at what item number. If your case is listed, it will be there with its serial number — that is the number your advocate answers to when the matter is called. The evening cause list is the practical confirmation that a hearing is actually happening.

The website shows what the court registry has uploaded. After a hearing, the new date appears once the day's order or business is entered — usually the same day, sometimes the next. Until then the previous date stays on screen.
