How to track a Delhi High Court case online

Delhi High Court matters live on the court's own website, not on the district portals — a different site, different search, different habits. Here is the reliable way to find a case and then stop looking it up.
Identify the case the way the court does
A Delhi High Court case is identified by case type, number and year — BAIL APPLN. 934/2026, W.P.(C) 1234/2025, CRL.A. 567/2024. The type is one of the court's standard abbreviations; if you only have a party name or the advocate's name, both work as search entry points too.
Search it
On CourtWatch, switch the search to High Courts and pick Delhi High Court. Search by:
- Case number — choose the case type from the list, enter number and year. This is the precise route.
- Party name — scoped to a filing year, as the court's own search is.
- Advocate — by name or enrollment number.
The case opens with parties, status, the next date, hearing history and the orders the court has published.
Track it, and what that gets you

- Dates. The case is re-checked through the day — more frequently as a hearing approaches — and a WhatsApp update arrives in the evening if the next date or status changed.

FAQ
Can I track a Delhi High Court case by CNR?
Delhi High Court cases do have CNRs (they start with DLHC), but the court's own systems work on case type, number and year — search that way and track the case; the CNR is stored on the record for reference.
How soon do orders appear after a hearing?
When the court uploads them — usually within a day or two of pronouncement. Tracking does not speed the court up; it makes sure you see the order as soon as it exists online.
