Consumer Commissions — check case status & get hearing alerts

CourtWatch finds and tracks consumer complaints and appeals at the National Commission, the State Commissions and the District Commissions.

At a glance

Search a case before the Consumer Commissions by case number, filing reference number, party name or advocate name.

District Commissions are grouped by state in one list: find your state's heading and pick the commission where the complaint was filed.

A consumer case opens with its hearing history, and the daily orders and judgments the commission has published.

What CourtWatch can do for Consumer Commissions

Search

Find a case by case number, filing reference number, party name or advocate name. Results come back with the parties, the stage and the next date.

Note: Type the case number the way the commission prints it, for example DC/77/CC/100/2025. A party search covers cases filed in the year you enter. Advocate search lists only cases that have an order uploaded.

Hearing alerts

Track a consumer commission case and CourtWatch keeps re-checking it. You get a WhatsApp reminder the evening before and the morning of every hearing, and an update the same day a date changes or an order is uploaded.

Hearing history and orders

A consumer commission case opens with its hearing history, date by date. Where an order has been published for a hearing, it opens from the case file.

Tracking a consumer commission case, start to finish

1

Find the case

Search by case number, filing reference number, party name or advocate name — the same identifiers the commissions' own website asks for when you check consumer case status by hand. The case comes back with its parties, stage and next date.

2

Add it to your list

One tap puts the case on your dashboard. Following your own case is free (up to two cases); lawyers get a 10-day full-access trial, no card.

3

Let the updates come to you

CourtWatch re-checks tracked cases and sends a WhatsApp reminder the evening before and the morning of every hearing, and an update the same day a date changes or an order is uploaded, so you stop re-opening the portal to find out whether anything moved.

FAQ

How do I check the status of a consumer complaint?

Choose the National, State or District Commission, pick the commission that has the case, and search by case number, filing reference number or party name. The case opens with its parties, stage, next hearing date and hearing history.

Why does my case number not match?

Type it exactly as the commission prints it on its orders, for example DC/77/CC/100/2025. If you have the filing reference number instead, search by that.

Why does an advocate search miss some of my cases?

Advocate search lists only cases that have an order uploaded. A case with no order yet will not appear there; search for it by party name or case number.

Will I be told about the next hearing?

Track the case. CourtWatch keeps re-checking it and sends a WhatsApp reminder the evening before and the morning of every hearing, and an update the same day a date changes or an order is uploaded.

Put your Consumer Commissions matters on one page and stop checking the portal by hand. Free for litigants following their own case (up to two); lawyers get 10 days of full access, no card.
